In the next week, I’d like to explore how July/August should look for each type of racer out there. There are two types of racers our there:
- The all year racer. This guy/gal is always racing and slots cross in as the fall edition of his racing life. These fall into two subcategories, mtb and road racers.
- The cross specific racer. These folks generally only race cross. They may race outside of cross to get fit for the cross season.
In the next week or so I will examine how each racer is different and how their prep ought to be different as well.
