Hillbilly Ironman – Update

So it is on for Sunday the 28th.  I am planning on being in the pool at 4:30 AM so I can be minimizing time in the heat of the day.  The weekend doesn’t look too hot, but I am sure anything over 75 isn’t going to feel great.  Training has pretty much been nonexistent with work travel, soccer tournaments and family obligations taking up most of my time.  I view it as an excellent taper.  My courses are as follows:

Swim – Pool

Bike – 2 loops so that I can refuel at the house: http://www.mapmyride.com/routes/view/251295147

Run – 7 laps around the lake and back makes exactly 26.2 miles http://www.mapmyride.com/routes/view/251296369
